So here is the deal :)

Hi everyone! We went to the surgical consult yesterday and got some info about the upcoming surgeries... that's right, there will be two. The first is Monday at 9 am. http://www.wakehealth.edu/Neurosciences/Comprehensive-Epilepsy-Center/Phase-II-Monitoring.htm This is a good link of what will happen that day. After Monday we will keep our fingers crossed that he has a few seizures (isn't that the weirdest thing you ever thought I would say) because he can be there up to 3 weeks before they will decide without these seizures that they will have to close up and repeat at a later time. WE DO NOT WANT THAT! I foresee that by Wednesday or Thursday they will see their magic. If all goes well he will have his second procedure which is scheduled for Friday at the moment. This second procedure may or may not happen based off of the information they get from the monitoring. If it is affecting too much of his brain they cant remove it. So lets hope that's not the case either. If he has the second surgery, WOOHOO because within about a week he will be home. Its gonna be a long 2 to 3 weeks but I hope that they can get this thing out of his head.

Want Updates, Want to share concerns, or just straight up annoy me??? This is the place

Hi everyone. Everyone is fairly aware of what is in store for our family in the next couple of weeks so I wont get too detailed on that aspect but I wanted to let you all know that for in detailed updates I will be using this blog. Seems easier than making 18 thousand phone calls and returning 8 million text messages. (Bit of an exaggeration but you get the point).

Tomorrow we will have tons of new information about how this whole brain surgery thing will happen. I will keep those who need the information every minute its happens updated as for the rest of you please respect our wishes in not texting and blowing up either of our phones. This is incredibly stressful not only for Mike and I but also for those beautiful demons of ours. They have a lot of questions and concerns and they my first concern after Mike while we navigate this time in our life. Don't worry PARENTS! you are on the top of my phone tree.

This might sound bitchy... But HEY Marines at MACS 23!!! Have I got your attention??? I will have his phone and no I am not handing out hospital phone numbers. You can go through me. This Man is the structure wall to my life (like the metaphor?) I will protect his well being with every fiber of my being. :) Let him rest and pass all grieves through me. Please allow him to focus on coming out of this in one piece and not Deedee. Get my drift. As of March 17th he is all mine and those neurosurgeons. THAT'S THE ONE AND ONLY WARNING!
